In my art I deal with questions of perception and visual representation of time. My enthusiasm for time traces was awakened by macrophotography. From then on I reflected in my painting the unique colorfulness of naturally aged surfaces and their bizarre structures. I chose process painting as my artistic form of expression. Due to the way it works over a longer period of time, it is a visible testimony to its own genesis. Through painterly process drawings on the surface of the picture one becomes aware of the moment of time: time understood as the comprehensible time of origin of a work.
Thus, in the cycle time traces, I mirror the emergence and passing of nature through a metamorphosis of the material used, which is subjected to constant changes and overpainting during the process of creation. The compositions are characterized by breaking up and overlapping layers of rust, structure and paint, which have a morbid aesthetic.
